The holidays are in full swing and so are we!

1 of a Kind has some new arrivals. Check out the faux fireplace with electric logs which would warm up any room.  It is a bit shabby but very chic, made from salvaged architectural pieces and parts.  There is also a vintage iron folding bed.  This bed has a head board and foot board which fold flat underneath it for storage after guests depart.  It is slightly narrower than a twin but takes a twin mattress...no box spring required.  The darling round ice cream table and four chairs is on sale and we have markdowns on many other pieces.  We have also brought in many new and very pretty frames.  Here is a sampling:

1 of a Kind has grown and Holiday Cheer has arrived at Reminisce

Season's Greetings to All!

Well, to create, sometimes we have to destroy.  1 of a Kind has just completed a major renovation and expansion of it's architectural space and we couldn't be more excited.  We tore down a wall and created more space for our crusty old door, windows, shutters, etc.

Take a look at the destruction:

Now, the finished new, expanded 1OAK Architectural Shop:

There have also been new items added to our main shop:

Please join us at Reminisce for 'Elegant Evening' on Saturday, Nov 13, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm  Downtown Paso Robles merchants will be open late with holiday cheer.  Reminisce will be serving sweet and savory treats and two local wineries will be pouring wine for our guests.  Mark your calendar and see you there!  By the way, please check out Reminisce's blog.  Click on the link on the right and see new shops and holiday decor.

A good time was had by all!

Reminisce hosted a Fall Tea on Sunday, the 26th and it was great to see old customers and greet new ones.  Store gift certificates and drawing prizes were given away and the dealers provided hot and iced teas as well as sweet treats.  We love celebrating the store and it's uniqueness with our dear friends and customers.  We look forward to seeing all of you on Elegant Evening in November.

Here are a few pictures of some new stuff that just arrived at 1 of a Kind:
